01 / MEMORIES, PLACES & JOURNEYS

Put your photos
back on the map.

Explore all photos or a single album. Switch between thumbnails and simple markers, zoom in, go full screen, or draw a rectangle to add photos from an area to an album.

Memories shows photo locations, Places shows the regions covered by your photos, and Journeys organizes capture records into a route you can edit. Use Export & Share to preview, save or share a keepsake in 3:4, 4:3 or 1:1.

Uses recorded photo locations and available region boundaries. Map tiles and place names need a network connection.

02 / CHINESE IMAGE SEARCH

Start with
what you remember.

Describe a sleeping cat, the sea in Korea or cherry blossoms photographed in Japan last year, using Chinese. Combine a scene with capture dates, reliable locations, album scope and organization status.

Search album names, notes and text in photos too. Recognition runs on your device, with pause and resume controls. The first scan takes time to build an index.

Results can be incomplete or incorrect. Scenery does not establish a capture location or a person’s identity. Full video content is not recognized.

03 / SMART ORGANIZATION

A journey becomes
an album of your own.

Review suggestions for existing or new albums based on capture times, locations and organization clues. Trip titles favor reliable cities or regions to make each suggestion easier to understand.

You choose the photos and confirm the album name. A photo can belong to multiple albums; choose covers, leave notes and follow your progress with a compact ring.

Apple Photos manages the originals. AlbumTrail saves your organization without copying your whole library.

04 / iCLOUD BACKUP

Keep your organizing.
Pick up on another phone.

Save albums, photo references, covers and notes in Profile → iCloud Backup. It uses the iCloud account on your device, with no separate AlbumTrail registration or sign-in.

Restoring merges albums and notes while keeping local content. Transfer the original photos separately through iCloud Photos or another method. Unmatched references remain while photos sync or permissions change.

Original photo files are not included. Backups use your iCloud storage. Automatic backup starts off and, when enabled, updates while you use the app.

YOUR PHOTOS, YOUR CHOICE

Personal memories.
Choices you control.

No app account is needed. You choose which photos AlbumTrail can access, and recognition runs on your device. Organization data stays local by default; you can choose to back it up to your own iCloud.

Maps, iCloud, App Store tips and sharing you initiate involve the corresponding services. The privacy policy explains what each type of information is used for.
